Miscellaneous news
Jun. 5th, 2008 12:30 pmWe finally updated the Not One of Us website.
Mike O’Driscoll reviewed Not One of Us 39 in The Fix.
Last month I attended the annual conference of the American Association for Public Opinion Research (AAPOR), held this year in New Orleans. Because of the frog-strangling rain and thunderstorms (our flight from Boston even had to detour to avoid tornadoes), I didn’t get around as much as I wanted to. I did go out with friends for dinner and traditional jazz at The Palm Court Jazz Café on Decatur Street. Here is the one and only picture I took on the trip, during a rare moment when it wasn’t raining. This is Bourbon Street by day: it looks a lot different at night! What a feast for the senses.
I have been overwhelmed at work (film at eleven). We’ll have had $800,000 worth of surveys in the field in May through July.
I’m going to be at Readercon in July. I’d be interested to hear if anyone who has a story, a poem, or art in Not One of Us 39 or Home and Away (you know who you are) will be there.
