“We use the title of this publication, Past Tense, not mainly as a verb form, but to indicate things that took place in the past and were beyond tense when first experienced. We have a cold case where the victim isn’t the only one dead, ancient Rome, 1932 Texas, and 1892 Paris; coins and fiddlers and the Golden Dawn. Plus a gallery – no, the gallery – of famous art from the past. All presented by scary sisters who might be dead, but who really want to play with you.”
