Everything, everything ends

The book I had been editing in my spare time for more than four years has finally been published. American Public Opinion and Health Care (CQ Press) is a 540-page, 150,000-word, 279-table reference work of 21 chapters written by 22 authors. I am co-author of eleven of the chapters, notably “End-of-Life Care,” and I did each and every one of the book’s more than 1700 notes. I need a drink.

By the way, the book costs $130, so I don't expect anyone reading this post to buy it.

That is a huge undertaking! Congratulations on completing it. (And oh my god, 1700 notes!!!) You will have to feel a great sense of satisfaction when you get the completed product in your hands. Congratulations again :)

Thank you. I have three copies in hand. So far, I haven't found anything embarrassing.
